Meadow Circuit with AVdíly – Originality and Challenge (Competition for Prizes)

AVdíly returns as the main partner of the 2026 Spring Meetup of the Volvo Club of the Czech Republic and brings with it unique competitions and original challenges. The first one, on the so-called “Meadow Circuit” above Kletečná — where driving will no longer be “normal” — will surely surprise you.

This race against time is not an ordinary speed challenge — it is a series of challenges that will test your skills, nerves, and improvisation. Every year, AVdíly prepares special vehicles and unexpected tasks that will turn your usual driving habits upside down, bringing fun not only for participants but also for spectators.

In previous years, on the meadow circuit, we have seen:

• Volvo S80 D5 with right-hand drive and swapped gas and brake pedals — a challenge for anyone who thinks they have “stepped-on” reflexes.
• Vehicles with re-geared steering, where turning left means turning right — total chaos in the mind, but lots of fun on the track.
• XC90 with "wrench steering" — the steering wheel replaced by a regular wrench, and the driver had to navigate the entire track using it.

These creative and “crazy” disciplines are not just fun — they are competitive activities with valuable prizes that AVdíly prepares for those brave enough to take the wheel and overcome the challenge.

The program of the meadow circuit is designed to entertain both the racers and the spectators, who will watch the competition and the progress of the racers from the sidelines.

Drift Trikes – Drift Trikes (Competition for Prizes)

The popular competition discipline of **Drift Trikes** is returning to the 2026 Spring Meetup of the Volvo Club of the Czech Republic! This year, participants will race on **gas-powered drift trikes** at the parking lot in front of the main building. The racing course will be set up for maximum fun and adrenaline.

Drift trikes are small tricycles designed for drifting — driving in a controlled skid. Participants will race to complete the course as fast as possible, showcasing their ability to control the tricycle and drift. The best rider will take home a valuable prize.

This competition is filled with laughter, adrenaline, and fun, and the winner is the one who can throw the **head of an engine** the farthest. So, if you want to test your strength and enjoy some serious fun, the **Head of Engine Toss** is the right activity for you!

Best Car of the Meetup Competition (Competition for Prizes)

A traditional part of the **2026 Spring Meetup of the Volvo Club of the Czech Republic** will be the **Best Car of the Meetup** competition. Participants will have a unique opportunity to vote for the cars that impress them the most in two categories.

Categories

The competition is divided into two separate categories:

• Classic: Various models from 240 to 850 and other traditional older Volvo generations.

How Voting Works

Each participant will receive a voting ticket upon arrival at the registration desk. On the ticket, they can write down two cars that impressed them the most during the event in the respective categories. There is no need to specify a rank; simply mark the cars that caught your attention the most.

Winner Selection

After counting the votes, all the voting tickets will be returned to the **voting box**. **Winners of individual competitions** will then draw **one voting ticket**, and its owner will receive a **separate prize**. This way, each competition winner will have the opportunity to draw a winner from the voting tickets.

Test Drives with Volvo Cars

At the **2026 Spring Meetup of the Volvo Club of the Czech Republic** in Kletečná, you will have a unique opportunity to test the latest Volvo models. **Volvo Car Czech Republic**, the official distributor of Volvo in the Czech Republic, will bring the models to the event for you to test on-site.

Additionally, there will be **face painting** where children can have various designs painted on their faces. This creative activity is a great way for kids to enjoy a day full of color and fun.

This attraction is intended for all children who want to enjoy moments of laughter and movement and is ideal for families spending time with us at the event.
